It’s been a long journey, but thankfully, I didn't rush to publish. For one, my book would not have a barcode. In publishing, one needs a keen eye, lots of patience, a desire to see things through, and more. 

My inspiration

My walk with my husband inspired me to write “Autumn’s Adventure with Daddy: A Tale of Beauty and Happiness.” A scene brought me back to my childhood, and from there, the story evolved. To be clear, the characters in my book are not me, nor my husband, nor my father.

My journey to becoming an author

When I set out to become an author, I gave myself three to five years to publish my first book. Despite some obstacles, I’m only a couple of months off schedule, and that doesn't include my co-authored book. Its publication got me back on track.

As one of the first few stories written at the onset of the pandemic, “Autumn’s Adventure with Daddy: A Tale of Beauty and Happiness is special to me. Writing was and still is a treasure I found. I get to create all sorts of stories in my own little world.

My publishing journey has been long and hard, but it has also been a blessing as I learned a lot. Many thanks to you, my reader, for journeying with me, and I wish you the best on your life’s journey.
